I never thought really seriously about buying a house while everyone seems to say it is a good idea and they are trying hard to buy one for themselves.
Mr. Hubby found this house last Sunday and he fell in love with it.
He called me up and showed me the house.
I loved it a lot too.
It was an old house but interior was beautifully finished. There was a separate house that Mr. Hubby could use as his studio. There was so much "potential" as my friends say for the house, meaning, you can fix the house as you like.
It was not cheap price but considering the location, it is a good price.
They say it is a "buyer's market".
We just received a notice of rent increase.
We will be paying $1400 a month eventually.
Then everyone says "you can make mortgage!!" "instead of throwing away your money, it goes toward something yours!!"
Mr. Hubby and I were not sure about the logic before.
Now we started thinking about it.....
We don't have money for sure to start with now.
I said, "call your dad, honey!"
If something miracle happens and if we can buy a house,,,, paying $1400 a month, that won't be a really bad idea after all I guess.
Will see what happens.
From this, we are more leaning toward the idea of buying a house, if it is not now but in the future...
Mr. Hubby's mom said on the phone, "how about you guys to start saving some money?".
I am running to buy a lottery ticket, instead of saying "what if i won", we actually need to buy one, right???
